I had a neighbor named Corbin.
The Harley. The beautiful wife. The career. He looked like the guy everybody wanted to be.
“What’s your latest scheme, Jason?
Still building playsets?”
I found out he killed himself while I was alone in a hotel room in China, at the lowest point of my own life.
Everything on the outside. Nothing underneath. No path forward. No one who knew.
If Corbin could have had a path out, he would have had hope again.
